Development Conference

The Development Conference brings together policymakers, development practitioners, civil society leaders, and young change-makers to discuss and advance sustainable development in our community. This year's conference theme "Inclusive Growth and Integration" examines how we can ensure development benefits reach all communities while strengthening cooperation and integration. The conference agenda includes keynote addresses from leaders and international development experts, panel discussions on critical development challenges and solutions, workshops on specific development areas, and networking sessions connecting stakeholders across sectors. Key topics include sustainable economic development and poverty reduction, climate change adaptation and environmental sustainability, education and skills development for the future, healthcare access and public health systems, infrastructure development and connectivity, and governance and institutional strengthening. Special focus will be given to youth engagement in development, exploring how young leaders can contribute to and benefit from development initiatives. We'll showcase successful youth-led projects and discuss mechanisms for increasing youth participation in development planning and implementation. The conference provides opportunities to learn from development successes and challenges, connect with potential partners and collaborators, contribute to shaping development priorities, and explore opportunities for involvement in development initiatives. Conference materials, meals, and refreshments included for all registered participants. Simultaneous translation will be available for select sessions.
